A workshop for entrepreneurs, heads, founders of enterprises took place in Grodno held by MCAEE and Grodno Public Association “Club of Entrepreneurs”. Heads of public associations of entrepreneurs from Minsk  and Grodno Mr. Vladimir Karyagin and Mr. Frans Mamul presented analysis of problems of development of entrepreneurship developemtn in Belarusian regions. The workshop participants took part actively in discussion of the given topic. Entrepreneurs and heads of business structures discussed also the process and perspectives of creation a public association of entrepreneurs in the republic which will include regional business associations of Belarus.

On August 23 2006 a workshop in Slonim for founders and heads: “Presentation and Legal Protection of Interests of Entrepreneurs” took place.

On August 21 – 22 2006 a workshop for development of strategic plan of development of business associations based on LFA method (Local foundation Approach) for heads and members of Boards of entrepreneurial associations of the Republic of Belarus took place. Consultants-experts from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southern Sweden helped to find out the weak points of development of regional business associations, analyse problems, develop the plan of events for strengthening the role of business associations for representatives of business and their consolidation.

MCAEE Vice-President Ms. Lilia Koval met the head of the Association “Cooperation and Development Italy-Belarus” Mr. Klaudio Katanio in the office of Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers. During the meeting. The possible ways of cooperation between representatives of Italian business community and members of Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers were discussed.  The discussion also included the issue of assistance that the Italian side is able to render to Belarusian entrepreneurs who plan to extend their business on the market of Italy.
