On June, 1st there was the 16th phone conference of heads of business associations from Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev, ESC Borisov, Vitebsk, Baranovichi, Belarusian Trade Union of different forms of business ‛Sadruzhnasts`“ (‛Commonwealth“). The conference was focused on preparation of offers aimed at simplification of administrative procedures that will be presented to the working group headed by the Deputy Prime-Minster Mr. A. Kobyakov. As the First Vice-President of MCAEE Mr. Victor Margelov underlined, it is necessary in the near future to analyse the proposals that business associations offer, to add the necessary changes and to present them to the Working group in the near future.
According to the tradition, the participants informed one another about their plans done that were outlined during the previous phone conference and informed about their plans for June 2007. All business events of this month will be devoted to the celebration – Entrepreneurship Revival Day that is being annually celebrated on June, 15. Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers will celebrate its 10th anniversary. On June, 14 2007 its partners from regional business associations will arrive for the festive meeting devoted to the jubilee of the Association.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Valentin Sukalo received the President of MCAEE Mr. Vladimir Karyagin. During the business talk the participants discussed issues of the current and perspective development of Belarusian entrepreneurship. Mr. Vladimir Karyagin informed Mr. Valentin Sukalo about the draft activity of Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers aimed at perfection of business climate of Belarus, presented materials about the activity of MCAEE and regional business associations in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev which assists in consolidation of business community in Belarus.

The festive issue of ‛Vecherny Minsk“ newspaper devoted to the 10th Anniversary of Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers was released. The issue contains an interview with MCAEE President Mr. Vladimir Karyagin about the main results of the activity of the Association for these 10 years and plans for the future, congratulations from the partnershiop organizations and also articles and photos about goods and services provided by these organizations. On June, 14 2007 the festive issue of ‛Vecherny Minsk“ will be presented to every participant of the meeting devoted to the first jubilee of the Association.

A meeting the State Committee for Science and Technologies took place on May, 30 2007. The participants discussed issues of innovation infrastructure in the Republic of Belarus in 2006 and tasks for its development for 2007-2010.

On May, 24 a workshop ‛Banking Cards: Profitable Solutions“ was held in International Education Centre in Minsk.
The workshop was held on the initiative of NovaCard company with participation of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers. NovaCard regularly holds such workshops in Russia and other CIS states.
