The “round table” “Business of Belarus within the new economic policy” took place on May, 14 2007 in Minsk, in International Education Centre IBB. The initiators and organizers of the meeting were the leading business associations from Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and Scientific and Research Mizes Center of AC “Strategy”. As it is known, these very organizations became initiators of creation of the National Business Agenda of Belarus and attached almost 20.000 representatives of business community of the republic to its creation. The participants discussed the following important topics: “Challenges of Belarusian macroeconomic policy. Adequate adaptation.”, “The place of business in the new economic policy made by the authorities”, “New accents of the National Business Agenda. Changes within new economic policy” and others.

Members of MCAEE took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Republic of Belarus – Innovation Policy. Competitiveness. Security” 

On April, 27 2007 was the second day in Minsk for a Turkish delegation consisted of the leading members of the Association of Industrials and Entrepreneurs of Antalia Region and representatives of the local authorities of Turkey. During the meeting with the delegation members MCAEE President Vladimir Karyagin discussed the issues of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Belarusian capital and Turkey.

On April, 27 2007 the 5th (the 15th) phone conference of heads of business associations from Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev took place. The participants discussed organization and holding of the “round table” “Business of Belarus within the new economic policy”. The “round table” will start at 1.00 p.m. on May, 14 2007 and will be held in the conference hall of the International Education Centre IBB. There will be two sections – “New Economic Policy for Belarus: Declarations and Reality” and “Business as the Accelerator of New Economic Policy”. The main tasks of the coming “round table”: to analyse the activity of the leading business associations and business community to implement the National Business Agenda of Belarus, to find out the feedback in order to use some offers of the Agenda while perfection of the legislation and to carry out offers for the 2008 Agenda.

On April, 27 2007 a press conference held by MCAEE and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus in the conference hall of the Ministry. The topic is: “Contemporary IT in trade and services”.
