The Minsk Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers held a teleconference on May 5th on the ongoing process of promoting the 2009 NBP. MUEE’s leadership reported that key NBP proposals were mentioned by the President in his annual address to the parliament, including simplifying taxes and reducing the number activities that require licenses. Members of local business associations spoke about the local NBP initiatives that they have launched in 2009. A total of 62 people participated in the teleconference, representing 15 cities.
