Еxpress-analysis of cooperation and knowledge transfer between industry and public research

At present the FP7 project "Knowledge Transfer Community to bridge the gap between research, innovation and business creation - NoGAP" is being implemented in Belarus. The NoGAP consortium is composed of 13 organizations from 6 countries of which 3 are EU members (Germany, Romania, Slovakia) and 3 are members of the Eastern Partnership (Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia).

The Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT) and Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University (BSATU) represents Belarus. NoGAP bridges the gap between research and innovation and contributes to taking advantage of the innovation potential of SMEs based on a better cooperation with researchers, transferring and using knowledge resulting from research. The overall objective of the project is to reinforce cooperation with Eastern Partnership countries to develop a “Common Knowledge and Innovation Space” on societal challenge ”secure, clean and efficient energy”.

With the help of the "Questionnaire related to cooperation and knowledge transfer between industry and public research and for pre-analysis of possible implementation of specific transfer centres" , the NoGAP project aims at identifying concrete opportunities as well as potential bottlenecks related to cooperation and knowledge transfer between public research and industry in the societal challenge secure, clean and efficient energy in a first step. In a second step, NoGAP tries to analyze the need, the capability and the ability for the implementation of specific transfer centers.

The main objectives of the NoGAP survey are to get answers concerning the following topics:
- Identification of concrete opportunities as well as potential bottlenecks related to cooperation and knowledge transfer between public research and industry in the societal challenge secure, clean and efficient energy
      - What kind of cooperation types exist?
      - Which barriers and potentials exist in the field of cooperation and knowledge transfer in the energy sector?
      - Which tools exist in technology transfer?
- Pre-analysis of possible implementation of specific transfer centres.

The questionnaire consists of different parts and sections:
