Second International Legal Forum for Commercial Arbitrage and International Trade Law

On November 29, 2013 on the initiative of the journal “Trade and Commercial Law”, the Association of Lawyers, International Arbitration Court of Belarusian Chamber of Trade and Commerce the Second International Legal Forum for Commercial Arbitrage and International Trade Law took place, during which the following topics were considered: 1) Lex Mercatoria: myth or the realms of international trade; 2) Force majeure and fixes conditions; 3) Arbitrary hearings. Arbitrability of an argument; 4) Independence and unbiasedness of arbiters.

In the forum work participated the Head of PA “MCAEE” juridical Department Vadim Borodulya.

Eastern Partnership Summit

On November 28, 2013 the Chairman of PA “MCAEE” Vladimir Karyagin took part in the work of the Third Summit of “Eastern Partnership” member countries, which was opened today in the capital of Lithuania Vilnius. Belarusian delegation was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, who presented Belarus’ position and approach towards “Eastern Partnership” and further development of this initiative during plenary discussion on November 29, 2013. During the summit bilateral meetings of Belarusian delegation head with EU and partner countries representatives, as well as with the administration of European structures, were conducted. The forum involved the representatives of 34 countries on the level of countries heads and ministers, as well as EU administration. During the forum the future of six post-Soviet space countries (Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine was discussed. The working sittings of the summit were conducted in exhibition and conference center “Litexpo”.

“Brand4Baltic”

On November 27, 2013 the heads of the Association’s partner enterprises take part in the International conference and franchise fair “Brand4Baltic”, which was conducted in Vilnius (Lithuania). The business trip is organized by the initiative of the Association’s partner enterprises – Entrepreneurship Support Center “Centr XXI vek”, company “LATIN SERVISS” (Informational agency of Yurmala City Council in the Republic of Belarus), in the framework of partner ties with “Lithuanian Confederation of Employers” and its structures, acting in the field of franchising.

Practical conference “Business setting up and development. Franchising technology”

On November 20, 2013 concluding venue of the year in Belarusian franchising - practical conference “Business setting up and development. Franchising technology”. The conference was conducted in Minsk in the framework of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Belarus.

“Think beyond patterns!”

On November 18, 2013 in a conference hall of Youth Business Incubator, situated in Minsk, Chapaev Street 3, in the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a seminar, dedicated to the issues of marketing and sales in the Internet sphere took place. It was conducted by the expert well-known all over the world, the lecturer of the School of Entrepreneurship of the Uppsala University (Sweden) Per Englund, the motto of whose activity is the call “Think beyond patterns!” The members of the Association participated in the seminar: Director of the GMbH “BioLight-Service” Fyodor Fitzner, Director of the UE “GarantProfUchet” Elena Modzilevskaya, Director of the GMbH “AversaGroup” Anton Garustovich, IE Nikita Velmaskin, Director of PE “Flit” Inna Tkachenko,Director of the GMbH “Uspeshnostroy”.

Opening of International Entrepreneurship Forum

On November 19, 2013 an opening of International Entrepreneurship Forum “Innovations.Design. Thinking. Technologies” took place. During the morning panel discussion topics economic environment of Belarus, corporations and small businesses, scenarios of privatization were analyzed. As moderators spoke: Presidium Chairman of ALE RCE, Chairman of ALE RCE Vladimir Karyagin; Deputy Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship PyotrArushanyants;DanisMindaugas - the Ministry of Economy of the Lithuanian Republic, Liza Kestner – IFC, Daniel Krutsina – CIVITTA.

The Day of Belarussian Economy in Berlin

On October 28, 2013 ALE RCE Presidium Chairman, PA MCAEE Chairman Vladimir Kariagin and Deputy ALE RCE Chairman Victor Serenkov will participate in the Day of Belarussian Economy in Berlin. At the venue the issues of Belarusian-German collaboration in the fields of investments and outer trade and the problems of interaction in the context of Belarus’ membership in the Customs Union and Common Economic Space will be conferred.

”The National Strategy of Sustainable Socio-Economic Development of Belarus up to 2030”

On October 25 on a round table “Conceptual Principles of Working-Out of the National Strategy of Sustainable Socio-Economic Development of Belarus up to 2030” the ALE RCE Presidium Chairman, the PA MCAEE Chairman Vladimir Kariagin spoke and reported that on March 5, 2014 in Minsk the XV Assembly of business circles will be held. On this event the NBPB-2014 project in which it is planned to include a number of issues, connected with development of "green economy" will be submitted. Vladimir Karyagin also had a meeting with Ben Slay, the head of department of the UNDP regional bureau (Bratislava) at which topical issues of sustainable social and economic development and "green economy" were discussed. The meeting was opened with welcome speech by the Deputy Minister of economy of Republic of Belarus Alexander Yaroshenko. In a round table also took part the coordinator of the UNFPA programs Tatyana Gaplinchik, the Deputy Director for science and informatics of unitary enterprise “Belarussian Town Building Research Institute” Nikolay Vlasyuk.

UN Day Celebration

On October 24, 2013 the UN Day Celebration took place in “Dom Moskvi”, Minsk. The ALE RCE Presidium Chairman, the PA MCAEE Chairman Vladimir Kariagin joined in the event. At the celebration Mr. Sanaka Samarasinha, UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Nikolai Snopkov, Minister of Economy and Ms. Alena Kupchyna, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs delivered the addresses to the gathered.

EUROPEAN ENTREPRENEURS 2013

On October 18 – 19, 2013 the ALE RCE presidium chairman, PA MCAEE chairman Vladimir Kariagin participated in the annual meeting of europrean entrepreneurs "EUROPEAN ENTREPRENEURS-2013" in Budapest. The meeting began with a conference for SME represenatatives, during which the results of the previous period were summed up.
