Training seminar was held in Gomel on February 21, 2012 (instead of seminar in Lida by request of local business community). 32 people participated. Topic of seminar: “Cooperation between business and authority: stimulation of business activity and prevention of violations”. Among participants: Konstantin Krukov – representative of Entrepreneurship department, Alexander Yakobson – chairman of State control committee of Belarus, Alexander Konuk – General Prosecutor of Belarus, Vladimir Dvornik – chairman of Gomel city executive committee, representatives of business associations.
Vladimir Dvornik made report on topic: “Results of year of enterprising in Gomel region”. Deputy chief of taxation department of Ministry of Taxes Uri Konovalov made report on topic: “Changes in tax legislation”. Chief of department of State Control Committee Danuta Rijikova reported on topic: “Realization of control and supervisory norms”. Chief of real estate department of State Real Estate Committee Nina Stetsik made report on topic: “Rent relations and rent rates”. One of the main topics of seminar was public-private partnership. Georgy Badei – Chairman of Business union of entrepreneurs and employers named after prof. M. Kuniavski made report on this topic with the help of his union experience. About development of social partnership told leader of Gomel trade union organization “Sodrujnast” Natalia Aliferko. Vladimir Karyagin devoted his report to dialogue between business and authority and fruitful cooperation. Participants received new practical experience and information about rules of entrepreneurship, advantages of market economy, role of business associations, advocacy, development of PPP.
