As we told the 14th Festival in Economy and Entrepreneurship “Success Ladder” took place on April, 14-16 in Minsk State Palace of children and Youth. The festival hosted 24 teams from all regions of the country and also two teams from Ukraine.
This year the festival program contained correspondent essay competition “Investment in Future”, creative competition “Economic Conceptions in Pictures and Stories”, competition of economic paradoxes, business games: “Economic Tradings”, “Near the Lake” and also the main event of the festival – “Fair of Youth Business Ideas” which included presentation of a business idea and holding of a PR campaign.
On the results of the festival the winners in the categories were awarded by cups, medals and memorable souvenirs.

The Festival of “Success Ladder 2007” showed efficient model of social partnership between different organizations in promotion of education project for forming of economic and business thinking of the youth.
The competition agenda changes every year but the aims of the festival remain the same: to assist the youth in obtaining theoretic knowledge in economics and entrepreneurship in practice and also to popularize the civilized entrepreneurship and the values in the market economy.
The peculiarity of the current festival was to focus the participants` attention on studying of real goods and services made by Belarusian enterprises, searching for new original solutions and approaches for their promotion.

The idea of economy and entrepreneurship competitions for Belarusian pupil is supported by from one side – advanced teachers who recognize the advantages of the market economy and from the other – by representatives of business circles of the republic of Belarus. And it is no wonder the motto of the current festival is: “Social Partnership for Development”.
