Charity fund “Northern Athens”. Mental revival and economic bloom of region

On April, 27^th in Molodechno music school of Michal Kleofas Oginsky was held presentational concert of charity fund project “Northern Athens”. The fund was found by Historical and regional natural history museum of Smorgon, Molodechno music school of Michal Kleofas Oginsky, PA “Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers”.

“Northern Athens” was the name of Oginsky’s villa in village Zalesie, Smorgon region. In those days there gathered outstanding representatives from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Paris, Warsaw and other cities. Fund has an aim to renew villa, return previous value of cultural center, strengthen friendship between Oginsky’s follower. Within the framework of project renovation of villa, reconstruction of park, upgrading of pond, concerts and festivals organization, creation of tourist area and Oginsky’s museum are planned.
