Montenegro welcomes to business partnership

On May, 27^th the office of PA “MCAEE” visited delegation from Montenegro: Deputy minister of economic development of Montenegro Nada Medenitsa, Ambassador of Montenegro in Belarus Jelko Radulochiv, town governor of a community Ultsin Gzim Haidinaga, adviser of Ministry of Economy Velko Vrbitsa, secretary of town governor of a community Ultsin Arslan Haidinaga. Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers presented Vice-chairman Liliya Koval, director of “Matep” Co. Ludmila Machulskaya, director of “Binfors” Co. Ludmila Dvoryaninova, deputy director of “Binfors” Co. Andrey Kuchinsky, deputy director of “Olirty” Co. Elena Dudko. During of conversation was achieved the arrangement on agreement undertaking on business partnership between Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers and Association of entrepreneurs of Montenegro.

Business meeting in office of Association of Russian banks

On the 26^th of May Chairman of PA “MCAEE” Vladimir Karyagin visited office of Association of Russian banks in Moscow. During the negotiations with the management of association were analyzed the results of cooperation between two organizations, that protect the interests of Russian and Belarusian representatives of individual business, and also plans of further cooperation made.

The IX Russian-wide Conference of SMB representatives

On the 26^th of May in Moscow was started the IXth Russian-wide Conference of small and medium enterprises “Small and medium business as the most important factor of social stability and economic development in crisis conditions”. Initiators of event – Chamber for commerce and industry and Ministry of economic development of Russian Federation. During the conference was presented the report of Chairman of “MCAEE” Vladimir Karyagin about information and integration project “Regions of Russia in Belarus Republic” under initiative of Russian Federation embassy in Belarus, Association of legal bodies “Republican confederation of entrepreneurship”, PA “MCAEE” and newspaper “Association of entrepreneurs”.

The VII th General assembly of PA “MCAEE”

On the 21^st of May, 2009 was held the VII th General assembly of PA “Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and employers”. During the assembly was heard the report about work of capital business-association for the period from May 2006 till May 2009. The work of Association was unanimously recognized as satisfactory. Discussed results and tendencies of PA “MCAEE” development, and also entrepreneurship in Belarus Republic at all. 55 members of Association, who hold active social-economic position and make serious contribution in development of capital business-association and Belarusian entrepreneurship in general, elected in Council structure. In assembly participated representatives of state governing bodies, international organizations, embassies, banks, leading associations of industrials and entrepreneurs. Teleconference

The Minsk Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers held a teleconference on May 5th on the ongoing process of promoting the 2009 NBP. MUEE’s leadership reported that key NBP proposals were mentioned by the President in his annual address to the parliament, including simplifying taxes and reducing the number activities that require licenses. Members of local business associations spoke about the local NBP initiatives that they have launched in 2009. A total of 62 people participated in the teleconference, representing 15 cities.

Jaroslav Romanchuk in Washington

jaroslav News - Results from #250 CIPE Partner and Executive Director of the Analytical Center “Strategy” Jaroslav Romanchuk completed a visit to Washington, DC. Mr. Romanchuk met with high-level State Department officials, key Capitol Hill staff, think tanks, foundations and media outlets in Washington, DC. He made a presentation at the Balkan-Black Sea Initiative and gave an interview to Voice of America. He also spoke at a CIPE/CATO Institute event about the current economic situation in Belarus and Belarus’ foreign policy toward Europe and Russia. Mr. Romanchuk was in the U.S. to receive the 2009 Sir Anthony Fisher International Memorial Award in the category of Young Institutes for his authorship of the book “In Search of Economic Miracle: Lessons for Belarus.”

Business trip to regions of Belarus

On the 13th of May started business trip of the Chairman of PA “MCAEE”, the Chairman of ALE RCE Presidium Vladimir Karyagin to regions of Belarus Republic that was organized under the initiative of PA “MCAEE” at participation of local authorities and representatives of business-association from Slonim, Mosty, Vitebsk, Rogachev.

On May, 12^th at the enterprise – member of PA “MCAEE” “Belnationalservice” in Raevka village, Molodechno region took place Director’s day on topic “Effective partnership”. Director I. Kluev presented staff of his enterprise and told about production of corrugated cardboard and package. The participants discussed problems of industrial enterprises, offers to the draft of Social and economic development plan for 2011 – 2015, watched presentation of new equipment on package production that was made by director of “Realpack”, Ltd. A. Pilinko, exchanged knowledge of administration and business offers.

Business trip to Vitebsk

On the 8^th of May in Vitebsk took place a meeting of Chairman of PA “MCAEE” Vladimir Karyagin and Belarusian architect L. Levin with the Chairman of Vitebsk city executive committee V. Nikolaikin. During the meeting the questions of development and realization of project on creation of International fund “Shagal’s Centre”. In the same day V. Karyagin participated in solemn meeting in honour of 64^th anniversary of World war II victory, that took place in cultural-business centre in Vitebsk.
