The next meeting of Organizing Committee of International Conference “Bank, Capital and Investment for Business and Regions” took place in the office of MCAEE (104-11, Serafimovich str. Minsk).

New tariffs for heating supply, water supply, sewerage, sanitary by Minzhilcomhoz (Minsk Housing Communal Service) will be used for legal entities from October, 1 2006.

The correspondent decision of Minsk Regional Executive Committee 12.09.2006 N 911 was registered in the National Register of Legal Acts on September, 25 2006. It is worth to note that the last time heating supply tariffs were increased in August, 1 2005 and water supply and sewerage tariffs – in May, 1 2005.

The Round Table titled “The Role of State and Business in Strengthening Pro-European Views in Belarus” with participation of heads of Belarusian public entrepreneurial and business associations took place. MCAEE President Mr. Vladimir Karyagin presented his report titled “Social and Economic Context of Business and Entrepreneurship Development in Belarus from the Point of View of European Values. The CEO of Public Association of Mogilyov Region Entrepreneurs Ms. Tatyana Kozlovskaya presented her analysis titled “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Strengthening Pro-European Views in Belarus”.

On September, 28 the sitting of Capital Business Club of Directors titled “Development of Business Network of Members of Business Associations” took place. While opening the sitting, MCAEE President Mr. Vladimir Karyagin informed that on that day, during the national entrepreneurial conference “On Perspectives and Conditions of Entrepreneurship Development till 2010” a decision to create the National Confederation of Entrepreneurship was made. The organization will be registered till the end of the current year. It will join fifteen entrepreneurial and business associations of the republic. The day before we found out that the UN made a decision to join MCAEE, Business association in the name of prof M.C. Kunyavsky and six Belarusian enterprises to the Global Impact initiative.

The Conference “On Perspectives and Conditions of Development of Entrepreneurship in Belarus till 2010” took place on September, 28 in Minsk in International Education Centre IBB.
The Conference hosted representatives of 20 business associations and public entrepreneurial associations of the republic and also diplomats, economist, lawyers, deputies of the Belarusian Parliament, representatives of the local authority, entrepreneurs, leaders of entrepreneurship movement, heads and founders of enterprises, journalists. The Conference participants took a decision to create the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs. It will be registered till the end of the current year.

The President of MCAEE Mr. Vladimir Karyagin took part in the work of the Fifth International Conference «Global Experience in Brand Promotion: problems and perspectives».  The Conference took 2 days. The agenda included reports of leading experts from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and also practice specialists in creation and promotion of brands.

From January, 1 2007 the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus 22.03.2004 N 140 – that introduced national fine for using vehicles in entrepreneurial activity and transmission them to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs – will not be in force.
The correspondent decree N 569 was signed on September, 13 2006. The Press service of the President of the Republic of Belarus reports that its signing is aimed at simplification of taxation of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. The official source explains coming into force of the Decree that changes to the tax legislation are implemented on the eve of the next budget (finance) year and come into force since January, 1 of the next year. 

A workshop for entrepreneurs, founders and heads of enterprises of different kinds took place in Molodechno, Minsk Region titled “Presentation and Legal Protection of Interests of Entrepreneurs”

In the cultural and sport complex “Silichi” a business meeting of women-entrepreneurs took place, held within the program of support of small and medium business by the Chamber of Commerce and Trade of the Southern Sweden, Federation of Private Entrepreneurs of Sweden, International Finance Corporation, Swedish International Development Agency. The workshop was attended by members of the Permanent Commissions of the Chamber of Representatives, founders and directors of partnership enterprises of MCAEE, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel and Mogilyov regional business associations, and also from Russia and Sweden.
The participants of the business meeting exchanged their work experience in development of woman entrepreneurship in Sweden, Belarus and Russia, defined the aims and tasks of creation of women networks as effective mechanism of economic development, held presentations of women clubs and organizations in Belarus.

On September, 12 the National Phone Conference took place with participation of heads of Pa MCAEE, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel and Mogilyov regional business associations, Bobruysk and Vitebsk Entrepreneurship Support Centres.

Vice-President of MCAEE, head of partnership enterprise of MCAEE, director JSC “Makbel” Mr. Dmitry Makarov was awarded by the Ministry of Information: breastplate «EXCELLENT PUBLISHER OF BELARUS».

Public Association “Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers” sent a telegram to the Board of Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in connection with the death of Mr. Arkady Ivanovich Volsky – the President of Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers), the largest public figure, friend and business partner of Belarusian industrials and entrepreneurs.  The telegram expresses a deep condolence to the colleagues and also to relatives and nearers of the person whose fate was to leave a significant trace in the history of entrepreneurship development on the territory of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe.
