On June, 11th 2009 PA “Minsk capital
association of entrepreneurs and employers”, association of legal entities “Republican
confederation of entrepreneurship”, press-centre of newspaper “Komsomolskaya
Pravda in Belarus” held republican-wide phone conference, devoted to the Day of
revival of Belarusian entrepreneurship.
Program of press – release in honor of the Day of revival of Belarusian entrepreneurship:

2. How can be increased contribution of small and medium business in internal product? Views of members of PA “MCAEE”, leaders of partner enterprises of business – associations, included in ALE RCE.

On May, 27th the office of PA “MCAEE”
visited delegation from Montenegro: Deputy minister of economic development of
Montenegro Nada Medenitsa, Ambassador of Montenegro in Belarus Jelko
Radulochiv, town governor of a community Ultsin Gzim Haidinaga, adviser of
Ministry of Economy Velko Vrbitsa, secretary of town governor of a community
Ultsin Arslan Haidinaga. Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and
employers presented Vice-chairman Liliya Koval, director of “Matep” Co. Ludmila
Machulskaya, director of “Binfors” Co. Ludmila Dvoryaninova, deputy director of
“Binfors” Co. Andrey Kuchinsky, deputy director of “Olirty” Co. Elena Dudko.
During of conversation was achieved the arrangement on agreement undertaking on
business partnership between Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and
employers and Association of entrepreneurs of Montenegro. 
On the 21st of May, 2009 was held the
VII th General assembly of PA “Minsk capital association of entrepreneurs and
employers”. During the assembly was heard the report about work of capital
business-association for the period from May 2006 till May 2009. The work of
Association was unanimously recognized as satisfactory. Discussed results and
tendencies of PA “MCAEE” development, and also entrepreneurship in Belarus
Republic at all. 55 members of Association, who hold active social-economic
position and make serious contribution in development of capital
business-association and Belarusian entrepreneurship in general, elected in
Council structure. In assembly participated representatives of state governing
bodies, international organizations, embassies, banks, leading associations of
industrials and entrepreneurs. The work of assembly was described by 17 mass

CIPE Partner and Executive Director of the Analytical Center “Strategy” Jaroslav Romanchuk completed a visit to Washington, DC. Mr. Romanchuk met with high-level State Department officials, key Capitol Hill staff, think tanks, foundations and media outlets in Washington, DC. He made a presentation at the Balkan-Black Sea Initiative and gave an interview to Voice of America. He also spoke at a CIPE/CATO Institute event about the current economic situation in Belarus and Belarus’ foreign policy toward Europe and Russia. Mr. Romanchuk was in the U.S. to receive the 2009 Sir Anthony Fisher International Memorial Award in the category of Young Institutes for his authorship of the book “In Search of Economic Miracle: Lessons for Belarus.”
