On May, 24 the workshop: “Bank cards: profitable solutions” was held by MCAEE and ESC “Centre XXI century” in Minsk in International Education Centre IBB.

The partnership enterprise of MCAEE – “LIRITSA” trio became the winner of the 44th International competition of accordion music held in the German city Klingental. The festival hosted representatives from 25 countries including China, Austria, Argentina, Norway, Finland, Peru and Australia. It is no wander that musicians call it “the World Cup”. The next concert of the music ensemble “LIRITSA” will take place in Poland – on the festival in Zelena Gura the trio will give its solo concert in early June. In August “LIRITSA” will give its solo concert in China, on an accordion festival. On June, 14 this talented trio will participate in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Minsk Capital Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers.

 “Liberalism. Ideology of a Happy Person” – this is the title of a book presented on May, 18 in Minsk in the cosy and style café “Valeria”. The author is the well-known Belarusian economist, head of Scientific and Research Misez Center Jaroslav Romanchuk. The book will be interesting for all who appreciates a bright emotional and intellectual narration and a non-standard train of thought. Jaroslav Romanchuk is a talented scientist but his book is far away from being academic. It captures the reader`s attention even not with the first line but with the first words.  It is a discovery for those who is interested in economy issues, private growth and also for those who wants to study the knowledge of achieving success. On May, 17 a Russian delegation headed by the Advisor of the Chairman of the Government of Sverdlovsk Region Mr. Semen Barkov visited MCAEE office. During the meeting the participants analysed opportunities and perspectives of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Belarusian capital and Sverdlovsk Region.

On May, 15 2007 Exhibition Enterprise “Expoforum” opened “Belarusian Industrial Forum – 2007”. The “round table” “Attraction of investment to high-tech sector. Public-Private Partnership”. The location: 20/2 Pobediteley ave. (Football Hall), Minsk.

The “round table” “Business of Belarus within the new economic policy” took place on May, 14 2007 in Minsk, in International Education Centre IBB. The initiators and organizers of the meeting were the leading business associations from Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and Scientific and Research Mizes Center of AC “Strategy”. As it is known, these very organizations became initiators of creation of the National Business Agenda of Belarus and attached almost 20.000 representatives of business community of the republic to its creation. The participants discussed the following important topics: “Challenges of Belarusian macroeconomic policy. Adequate adaptation.”, “The place of business in the new economic policy made by the authorities”, “New accents of the National Business Agenda. Changes within new economic policy” and others.

Members of MCAEE took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Republic of Belarus – Innovation Policy. Competitiveness. Security” 

On April, 27 2007 was the second day in Minsk for a Turkish delegation consisted of the leading members of the Association of Industrials and Entrepreneurs of Antalia Region and representatives of the local authorities of Turkey. During the meeting with the delegation members MCAEE President Vladimir Karyagin discussed the issues of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Belarusian capital and Turkey.

On April, 27 2007 the 5th (the 15th) phone conference of heads of business associations from Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev took place. The participants discussed organization and holding of the “round table” “Business of Belarus within the new economic policy”. The “round table” will start at 1.00 p.m. on May, 14 2007 and will be held in the conference hall of the International Education Centre IBB. There will be two sections – “New Economic Policy for Belarus: Declarations and Reality” and “Business as the Accelerator of New Economic Policy”. The main tasks of the coming “round table”: to analyse the activity of the leading business associations and business community to implement the National Business Agenda of Belarus, to find out the feedback in order to use some offers of the Agenda while perfection of the legislation and to carry out offers for the 2008 Agenda.

On April, 27 2007 a press conference held by MCAEE and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus in the conference hall of the Ministry. The topic is: “Contemporary IT in trade and services”. The first Vice-President of MCAEE, Chairman of Entrepreneurship Development Council of Frunzensky District Victor Margelov, Deputy Head of IT department of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Novikov, Executive Director CSA Association Vladimir Poplavsky.
