On April 2007 the Forum “XIV International Special Exhibition and Congress for Telecom, Information and Banking Technologies “Tibo 2007” began.

   On April 25, 2007 within the International Scientific and Practical Conference “the Republic of Belarus: Innovation Policy – Competitiveness – Security” the section “Actual Problems of business Education” is held in the hall of the Science Council of Belarusian State University – 5 Bobruyskaya str. Minsk.  The section “Ideology of Innovation Development” will begin its work at 14.00 in the hall of the Presidium of the National Science Academy of Belarus.

On April, 20 Association of Brest Region Entrepreneurs celebrated its 15th anniversary from the day of its establishment! Colleagues, congratulations!
           Under management of the CEO Nina Karpinchik and Chairman Nikolay Demyanchuk the Association of Brest Region Entrepreneurs has become one of the leading business associations of the republic. On the moment of its opening the Association counted 26 members. Nowadays there are over 500 members in the Association. In difficult moments they apply for support to their association and get skilled assistance. On behalf of friends, partners and colleagues from the leading business associations of the country we congratulate Brest Region entrepreneurs with the Birthday of their organization, all actions and efforts of which are aimed at improvement of business climate in Belarus. We wish you success in development of Belarusian entrepreneurship!
       On Friday night members of Association of Brest Region Entrepreneurs gathered for a meeting devoted to the celebration. The guests included heads and members of the Association, entrepreneurs, journalists, financials, representatives of the authorities. The delegation of MCAEE consisted of the first Vice-President Lilia Koval, the first Vice-President Victor Margelov, Director of PR Centre of MCAEE Lubov Svetlanova, Deputy director of LFEMAS Eduard Polutorov – presented a microphone and a modem to the colleagues as the symbol that communication between our organization will see its further continuation and development. As we told the 14th Festival in Economy and Entrepreneurship “Success Ladder” took place on April, 14-16 in Minsk State Palace of children and Youth. The festival hosted 24 teams from all regions of the country and also two teams from Ukraine. 
       This year the festival program contained correspondent essay competition “Investment in Future”, creative competition “Economic Conceptions in Pictures and Stories”, competition of economic paradoxes, business games: “Economic Tradings”, “Near the Lake” and also the main event of the festival – “Fair of Youth Business Ideas” which included presentation of a business idea and holding of a PR campaign.

 On April, 4 President of MCAEE Vladimir Karyagin and Vice-President of MCAEE Lilia Koval took part in the Internet conference “Labour market in Belarus: problems and perspectives of development” held by the business portal BEL.BIZ. The participants analysed the following topics: “Statement of labour market and employment policy in the Republic of Belarus”, “Problems of labour market from the point of view of head of enterprise”, “Requirements to different specialists”, “Possibilities to search a job and a specialists provided by the business portal BEL.BIZ for participants of labour market”.

On April, 3 2007 a meeting of Innovation Development Committee took place in MCAEE office. The participants discussed preparation to the “round table” “Public-private partnership. Investment to high-tech sector, business-plan of innovation project”.

On March, 30 2007 MCAEE President Mr. Vladimir Karyagin took part in the conference held on the initiative of Bobruysk affiliate of BSEU. Topic of the conference – “Mechanisms of sustainable development of innovation social and economic systems”.

On March, 28 2007 on the invitation of the Ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Belarus Ms. Karen Stewart, MCAEE Vice-President Ms. Lilia Koval and Director of LLC “Centre XXI century” Ms. Galina Ilyshchuk took part in the reception in Minsk, at Minsk’s Pushkin Library. The reception was held in the honor of women who has played a significant role in the history of development of the society.

 On March, 27 2007 the meeting of Capital Business Club devoted to the III Belarusian Conference for Industrial Subcontractation took place. Agenda:
1. Presentation of participants of Capital Business Club.
2. Mechanisms of development of industrial cooperation between large and small enterprises. The speaker – Artiom Kiselev, President of “National Partnership for Development of Subcontractation”, Moscow
3. New technologies and structural development of private business in China, South Korea and Taiwan. Presentation of the book “Asian triangle of dragons”.
The speaker – Igor Malevich, the well-known writer and columnist, globally known scientist, diplomat, one of the leading world expert for the problems of technological development and geopolitical leadership of the Asian region, professor, PhD in physics and methemetics, author of over 400 scientific works and creations in quantum electronics and laser technologies, laureate of Governmental rewards and awards of international academies and global public institutes.
4. Festive dinner.
       The meeting participants congratulated the director of MCAEE partnership enterprise SE JSC “Alkid” Vladimir Sohadze with a jubilee. New members of the Association were awarded by certificates on membership in the Association.
The meeting of Capital Business Club of directors took place in the restaurant of the culture and entertainment complex “Dan`kov-club”.

Scientific and research Mises centre (Belarus) headed by the well-known Belarusian economist Jaroslav Romanchuk is the first in the history that was honored to be awarded by 2007 Templeton Freedom Awards. The award is named after the well-known investor and philanthropist Sir John Templeton. It is annually given to the best think tanks in the world with assistance of Atlas Economic Research Foundation in 4 categories: 1) Free Market Solutions to Poverty, 2) Social Entrepreneurship, 3) Ethics and Values, 4) Student Outreach

On March 26 a meeting of Finance and Crediting Committee took place in MCAEE office. The participants discussed issues on microfinancing of private individuals and legal entities of small and medium-sized business of the Republic of Belarus, on covers, on the activity of CC MLA “Stolny” and Capital Club of Mutual Assistance.
